Common questions

I can't see levels 11–30 — they have a cart icon

Levels 11–30 unlock with the Starter Pack ($2.99). Open any locked level to see the store sheet, or pause an active level and tap "Levels" to get there. The pack also grants 4 AI level credits.

I paid but nothing happened

Open the Store screen and tap Restore Purchases. If credits or unlocks still don't show up within a minute, email us with the date and time of purchase and we'll reconcile it. We never see your card number — only the Apple-issued transaction id — so include that if you can.

I bought the Starter Pack on one device — does it carry to another?

Yes, as long as you use the same Apple ID. On the new device, install the app, open the Store screen, and tap "Restore Purchases."

The "Recreate" button says "no credits"

Level generation uses one credit per attempt. Buy a credit pack from the Store screen, or wait for promotions.

My AI level didn't have any crossings

If your prompt mentions "overlap", "cross", "figure-8", "knot", or "weave", the server now enforces at least 2 reused cells. If you've used vaguer wording, try again with one of those keywords.

The flashing visuals bother me

Open Settings inside the app and turn on Reduced Motion. This disables the animated background plasma and most full-screen flash effects.

Game Center isn't signing me in

Make sure Game Center is enabled in iOS Settings (Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Game Center). Tapping "Game Center" in the Retro TD main menu will re-trigger sign-in.

How do I share a level I made?

After you finish a custom level, tap Share from the victory screen. Recipients open the link on their device with Retro TD installed and the level imports automatically.

How do I report a level somebody sent me?

Long-press the level in the Levels screen and tap Report, or use the web report form.
