Setup — $7,499 one-time
The one-time cost of not running a software project yourself.
Includes:
- Discovery and scoping
- Design and build
- Production deployment to your domain
- Logins, admin tools, and access control
Typical delivery: three to six weeks.
Active Development — $999/mo
For apps you’re still adding to. Includes everything in Maintenance, plus:
- 5 hours of new development each month
- Unused hours roll forward
- Carryover bank caps at 10 hours
- When the bank is full, the current month’s hours are spent first
Carryover example. You get 5 hours every month. Don’t use any in month 1 and you have 5 banked. Don’t use any in month 2 and you hit the 10-hour cap. In month 3, your new 5 hours are spent before touching the bank — so the bank stays at 10 until you actually pull from it.
The point of the cap: you can save up for a bigger feature without paying for hours you’ll never use, and neither side ends up holding an open-ended balance.
Maintenance — $299/mo
For apps that are live and stable, with no current backlog.
- Your app stays online, looked after, and ready
- Backups, security updates, and monitoring
- Move back up to Active Development any time something new comes along
If anything about your app is on your mind between feature pushes, you should be on Active Development.
What’s not included
- Third-party costs you’d pay anyway (email and SMS providers, payment processors, domain registration)
- Major rewrites or pivots — those start a new Setup
- Hours beyond your monthly + banked allowance — we’ll quote a fixed price for the extra scope
